  Start a Flow when there is a new feed item in a specified feed

  Options

  • Choose Feed(dropdown): List of feeds to monitor for new feed items

  Output Fields

  • Text Post
    • Item Type (text): Type of the new feed item
    • Full Text (text): Text of the feed item
    • Links (list of text): URLs included in the feed item
    • Mention Names (list of text): Names of mentioned users
    • Mention IDs (list of text): IDs of mentioned users
    • Hashtags (list of text): Hashtags included in the feed item
    • Feed Item ID (text): ID of the feed item
  • Tracked Changes
    • Item Type (text): This will always be “Record”
    • Field (text): Name of the changed field
    • New Value (text):New value of the changed field
    • Old Value (text): Old value of the changed field
    • Actor Name (text): Display name of the user that made the change
    • Actor ID (text):ID of the user that made the change
    • Feed Item ID (text): ID of the feed item
  • Parent Record
    • Name (text): Name of the parent record
    • Record ID (text): ID of the parent record
    • URL (text):Relative URL of the parent record
    • Type (text): Type of the parent record

  Comment on a feed item in Salesforce Chatter.

  Input Fields

  • Feed Item
    • Feed Item ID (text): The unique identifier of the feed item you want to add a comment to.
  • Comment
    • Text (text): The text that the comment will consist of.
    • Mention ID (text): Name of the user that you would like to tag in this feed item comment.
    • Hashtag (text): A field that will populate a hashtag for the new comment.
    • Link (text): A URL that links to the comment.

  Output Fields

    • Comment ID (text): The ID of the comment that was just created.

• Create Feed Item

  Create a feed item in Salesforce, and attach it to an object where the feed is published. This feed object is determined by the dropdown fields in Options - Feed Type.

  Options

  • Feed Type
    • Record (dropdown): Create a feed item on a record object (Opportunity, Lead, Contract, etc.)
    • Group (dropdown): Create a feed item on a group object.
    • User (dropdown): Create a feed item in a specific user’s feed.
    • My Feed (dropdown): Create a feed item in your feed.

  Input Fields

  • Message
    • Text (text): The main message that will be displayed as the feed message.
    • Mention ID (text): Name of the user that you would like to tag in this feed item.
    • Hashtag (text): A field that will populate a hashtag for the given feed item.
    • Link (text): A URL.
  • Feed 
    • Feed ID (text): The ID of the feed that you would like this feed item to belong to. For example, a User ID, Opportunity ID, etc.

  Output Fields

  • Output
    • Feed Item ID (text): The ID of the feed item that was just created.

  Like a feed item using the feed item ID

• Search Groups

  Search for information about a group using the group name
